30 years back my father purchased 400 yards land and constructed building.He write the partition deed like Ground floor for younger son(to me) and first floor for elder son (my brother)and second floor on his name.But he is not registered the partition deed and not written anything about land division.partition deed is on Stamp paper Notary. from last 30 years, we are paying electricity bills , property tax and collecting rents and paying income tax on individual names.Recently my father expired and my brother who is having first floor asking for rights on ground floor also. My mother is staying in 2nd floor and my mother and my self comfortable with the old partition deed .i also have property ownership certificate from municipality for the ground floor.Is there any legal issues involved in this? how can i secure my property .
