Can wife file 498a against husband's relatives even if she does not have domestic relationship with them. As per domestic relationship definition wife and relatives of husband must have lived under same roof. Is it valid to file 498a against these relatives those not lived with her under the same roof any time and have hardly met her in person??

Case u/s 498a can be filed against the relatives,
498a - Husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty.—Whoever, being the husband or the relative of the husband of a woman, subjects such woman to cruelty shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years and shall also be liable to fine.
Defination of domestic relationship implies in DV Act case.and not in 498a
