Need help! divorce filed by wife went to us

Hi Everyone,

I need help from all of you, I got married 2012 my wife didnt stayed with me 1 month, went to mom's home. we called her many times she refused to come. Now she has applied divorce just attended 1st counselling and ran away to US for higher education, her papa who took the power.

I want to know what I can do further? Please advise me

1. The suit matter will proceed as below;

- You will be required to file Written Statement
- There may be Counter Claim from your side to her Divorce suit matter.
- There may be set-off
- There may be counter Written Statement (Rejoinder) from PoA Holder.
- There will be discovery and productions
- There will be Interim order (if any)
- Execution of Interim Order happens (if any)
- Admission will happen
- Issues are framed by Court
- List of Witnesses are filed.
- Recording of Evidence will happen (at this stage her presence is required)
- Examination / Cross Examination happens.
- Final argument happens
- Judgment and Decree happens
- Appeal - Revision / Review, Reference happens
- Execution happens (if any)

2. If written statement already filed then rest process as above outlined takes place. If not filed then prepare written statement and do appoint an local advocate found via reference to follow your instructions as well as legally assist you.
