I want your help regarding difference between a Government Order (GO) and a Government memo..Are they both have same value ?
In particular my case ( Service matter - Regularisation of services) , my file is approved by Finance department and circulated to the Chief Minister. After the approval of the CM, instead of passing a GO, the government simply passed a MEMO to the Commissioner to take further action.
My query : Is there any particular rule that, GO should be passed compulsory ,when a file is approved by the CM of a state Government ..? And does both GO and Memo has same value ?
