Marriage registration query

Hello,

My query is related to obtaining a Marriage Certificate.

I got married on September 2015 in the state of Kerala. I would like to know if its possible to get my marriage certificate/registration done in Mumbai, Maharashtra without having to go back to Kerala. I have the following documents as evidence for my marriage.

1 - Wedding Card(Stating Venue & Address of marriage of both the bride & groom)

2- A letter from the Wedding Hall stating the marriage date of ours mentioned on their Letter head.

You have not stated as to which religion either of you or both of you belong to. I presume that both of you are Hindus and your marriage was a Hindu marriage other than one before the registrar of marriages. If so you have to go to the registrar's office having territorial jurisdiction over the place at which your marriage took place.
