MMRDA notice to society

I purchased a flat in kalher bhiwandi, its a gram panchayat area. Builder have the gram panchayat aaproval letter for construction of the building, society properly is non agricultural land, recently we got the letter fron MMRDA stating our society is not constructed in there awareness & it can be demolished any time? What to do now? We have 350 flats in our society. Waiting for your possitive response.

1. Gram Panchyat has no "legal" jurisdiction to grant any approval or sanction for any construction activity in a Municipal Corportion or Council area.

2. Construction approval /sanction has to be mandatorily taken from the zonal collector office or the Town Planning Dept.,

3. Appoint an architect to liason with the dept., for purposes of "regularising" the illegal structure, by following due procedure of law and documentations.
