Is original deed required to take home loan against gift deed property. My mother has gift me the plot by making the registered gift deed, now i want to take home loan to develop the plot, but bank is asking the original sale deed of my mother which i do not have. is it necessary to submit the original sale deed of my mother

1. The original deed of the plot would be required to verify the original title-ownership.
2. IF the original deed of the plot is not available, THEN the certified copy of the same can be obtained from the Revenue dept., (Tahsildar's office) alongwith the 7x12 extract of the property.
