Yes you can make application to local tahsildar for legal heir certificate.

My father was in BSF during his duty he died by illness in 1996. Then his pension was taken by my mother but she died in 2015 we are trying to get the family pension and we had submitted many of the document. Now BSF was answers that during our fathers job he had not maid the nominee to me and my little sister accept my mother. So to fulfill BSF requirement we have to prove that we are the nominee of our parents so we have to produce dependent certificate from Tehsil Karyalaya, Jila Karyalay . I had given an application to the collector office but he has not respond and said that we have to produce the certificate from the Civil Court but we have not much money to produce this succession certificate please suggest if any alternate process to produce this certificate.

yes you apprach local Tahsildar office and get it done

Its better you take a relinquishment deed from your siblings and get legal heir certificate from local Tehsilddar and also producing your father's death certificate and Legal heir certificate get the property mutated in your name in the revenue records. Thank very much for this reply we had already summitted the document for dependent certificate to collector office. But they was not respond for this . Please suggest if you any suggestions.
