Legal heir status

Dear Sir,

What is the difference between family members certificate and legal heir certificate ?

If a deceased person has dependent mother , wife and two minor children, then who will be legal heir for property issues ?

1. The property of a Hindu Male dying intestate would be given first to heirs within Class I as one share each.

And they are in reference to your query:

A. Mother,
B. Widow,
C. Daughter,
D Son
-
-
so on so forth.

2. Family Certificate is not binding for Successation of property

3. Any one of them can apply for legal heir Certificate.
