Sir,
I am tenant in a leased house for Rs 300000/-. I stayed for 2 years.Now the owner asked me to vacate but insists us to paint the building with the same quality of the paint he has used. If i use the same paint it may cost me around Rs 20000/- or more. Otherwise he asks me to pay Rs 20000/- as maintenance charge for the house. i told him that i will paint the building of my choice but it seems he disagrees.Please confirm is there any rule says tenant has to paint the entire building while vacating the house.
