This question is related to a property in Mysore. My father was owning a property in Mysore. It was originally under MUDA and then it got transferred to MCC(Mysore City Corporataion). Now my father has expired. So I applied for khata transfer in my brother's name with other survivors signing in favour of him. I have got something called "Uttara Patra" from corporation which says khata is in my brother's name now. Is that the right document for
pauti khata transfer when someone dies and you inherit the property. Experts kindly clarify.
My cousin had bought a site from MUDA from someone who was already alloted the site. THere was something called Khata transfer certificate over there. WHen I asked these people they told this is the only thing which is given in the corporation.
If any expert can clarify this it would be of great help.
