Jurisdiction

Whether the Family Court enjoys the jurisdiction to grant permission to sell immovable property situated beyond its jurisdiction under Sec.59(2) & (3) of Mental Heal;th Act 1987. Kindly enlighten.

Yes, upon appropriate petition under appropriate section of Law of Mental Health Act 1987.

 Thank you for respoinding.No dispute regarding jurisdiction of family Court to adjudicate.  The objection  is because the property is not within  the jurisdiction of the Court; in fact far away in another State,whether the Court can grant permission as stipulated under Section 59 (2) and (3) of Mental Health Act?
