i am a muslim indian man. i recently got khula from my wife who is a french citizen but indian by birth. this was divorce through Cheif kazi of tamil nadu and jamad in chennai. also in khula it is clearly mentioned both the sides agree that there is no demanding of things or money. But Now my ex father in law is demanding compensation by money or jewels and treatening me that he will go to court. my question is can he approach indian court or file a case against me? is this khula accepteable in court? can i defend myself with this khula?
