General power of attorney- death of husband

Hello, my Father bought a industrial plot in mohali of PSIEC. He got a GPA executed in his name for sale/transfer. He died 5 years ago and did not prepare a WILL. Does the GPA automatically transfer to my mother?

What is the procedure to sell/transfer in such cases?

Upon the death of the Power holder the GPA stands cancelled automatically.  Now you have to approach the PSIEC with an application, death certificate and other legal forms to get the property transferred on any one of the legal heirs to the deceased.
