Exchange of flats in a chs

A member of a Co-operative Housing Society bought two flats of another member and the latter gave his one flat in exchange. Under the Maharashtra C-operative Societies Act, if there is an exchange of flats are the transfer fees payable in respect of the exchanged flats?

Even though you are exchanging the flats for each others it will be in one and the same deed. You will have to pay the stamp duty on the market value of the flat which ever is higher among the two.

The issue here is about the Transfer fees payable to the Co-op Housing Society. Whether transfer fees will be payable on all the three flats or just the one which is being sold for consideration?
