Details about guardianship in india

Can we become a guardian of a child whose mother is alive (As they belong to lower class family)? Or else what can be done if i want to become a guardian or have to take responsibility of a child's eduction and activities as the child and his family belongs to poverty class?

No you can't be guardian since his guardian is alive.

In good faith u can take their responsibility .

Hi i agree with Adv. Bharat sir

you take care them but not become guridian as children mother and father alive now your question you ash how i do care of them so you take care of them education , like some other there daily need....

But is there an legal procedure for it to take care of them or to take their responsibilities? As to take decisions about their education.

If both biological mother and father of the child agrees, you can adopt the child. But if you want to take the responsibility limited to the child's education, there is no other way, except to talk with parents and convince them about your concern over their education.
