A Property (Basement, GF, FF & SF) is situated in a residential area (South Delhi). I own only the Basement in the said property. I understand that Basement is permitted to be used for storage godown and for certain categories of Professionals.

The querries are:-

1. Whether a portion of the said Basement which is to be used by a Professional (a Doctor's Clinic) will attract any Municipal Fee/Charges? If yes, at what rate?

2. What about calculation of FAR?

3. Whether one needs to obtain any other clearances, say Fire Safety, Structural Safety etc.?

Please cite the relevant statutory provisions too.

Hi,

Do u have Khatha Certificate in your name issued by Municipal Authority in respect of Basement and any seperate Municipal Number has been alloted to such property? Or is basement attached with some other property...Please check with it
