Degree correction in uttar pradesh government service records

Hello Sir, I am a government officer under UP government. My retirement is near in 3 years from now. In my service records, previous management added a degree BA while my Joining is based on other degrees in Sanskrit. Also I never used any such degree in my whole life span for anything. While to have the control the management arranged to have copy of this degree (which is not in my knowledge ever), also to make me stuck, they made sure that this degree is shown being taken during the service period tenure. I never took any such degree, my appointment/approval of service is based on other degrees. How to get my service book corrected? Any ideas please?
