What is the minimum amount to be filed for DRT? Whether it is Rs.10.00 Lacs, or 5.00 Lacs.

In DRT the proceeding is mainly between the Bank and the borrower, there is no minimum limit.

My Advocate has told me that the minimum amount for filing under DRT is Rs.10.00Lacs and above, I am having many cases more than rs. 5.00Lacs for filing, Please can anybody guide me, What step should I take?

Ask your advocate apart from DRT which is the appropriate forum when the amount is less thatn 5 lakhs.
