Hello,
I have just booked a flat and executed the Agreement with the builder in my name.
Flat would be ready after 2 years.
I approached Bank for homeloan with myself and my wife as coborrower. Although Bank is ready to accept her as the coborrower but at the same time informed me that she cannot claim tax deduction on the interest portion as she is not the co owner of the property.
I would like to know what is the best option for me so she can claim tax benefit ?
Should I include her name in the deed ?If so, what is the procedure and the charges involved
