Conversion from agricultural land to non-agricultural land

Hello sir,I have a land which is in agricultural zone. Now,I want to convert it in non-agricultural land so I can start my construction on it. Can anyone please tell me the procedure to do it and time duration for whole process?

There is a laid down procedure for seeking such land conversion. Please contact Tehasildar of Revenue dept., and follow proper laid down proicedure. If any of your neighbors have obtained such permission, contact them to know the procedure. Unless the land conversion is permitted, you can not get approval for residential construction from competent authority.
