Commpercial purpose as per consumer defination

IF a Owner of Company Purchase some goods only for the decoration of the Showroom & not for sale and that goods gets Defects. Will that owner of that company will come under the scope of Consumer ?

No,although the goods were not purchased for sale but the same are being used for decoration of company showroom to attract the customers which is part of commercial activity so owner  will not come under the purview of consumer.

If that goods are Tiles which is used in company showroom on ground of show room and also used in toilet, kitchen etc, which get defective after purchased.

Will that come under the scope of Consumer ?

No,Consumer Protection Act will not apply for the goods purchased for utilisation for commercial purposes, File civil suit.
