I am a member of a housing society in Andheri West, Mumbai. I have a leakage problem due to AC water dripping on the external wall from my neighbours living above my flat on 5th and 6th floor. I have complained to the society office and spoken to the office bearers. I have also expalined the issues to neighours. I have been given lame excuses and they are not taking any action. I refurbished my house recently and moisture due to wetness in the wall is creating damage.
My own AC drips i fixed by installing HDPE pipe line and brought the same through a down pipe to ground floor at my expense. I requested my neighbors to install similar pipes to collect their AC drips and connect to the pipleline installed by me. They are not amenable.
I like to live in a peaceful and happy environment but it appears my neighbours don't share same view.
What do I do now? Is there a authority to which I may complain?
