I have got the job in central govt in dec 12 my police verification started and all police and lio verification have been done now the document has to be sent to department but it is lying in ssp office for more than one month my joining is getting late what should I do when i go there they dont pay heed to me can i use RTI if yes then HOW?

You can ask your police enquiry status to the higher authrities in the police dept. Example. You can ask S.P.by giving reference enquiry file no. at your residential area.

Dont use RTI first you see get your work done. Go and request them to do the as soon as possible.
