1.The notice needs to be sent within 30 days of the receipt of the memo from the bank stating the reason of dishonour of cheque.
2.yes the notice period again restarts If the cheque is again represented in the bank within its validity

dont allow the cheque to expire as the validity of cheque is only three months from the date of issuing the cheque.if it crosses three months then you wont be able to file cheque bounce case over the issuer of the cheque

I disagree with Advocate Nitish Banka, agree with Mr. Kalyan Singh.
After amendment in NI Act, 1881 (since August 2002) it is 30 days from the date of memo of dishonour of cheque issued by your banker.
