Supreme Court in its landmark judgement given yesterday (copy attached) has held that all special allowances are part of basic wages and PF has to be deducted on the same. It will have far reaching impact on the industry.

Hi, I would like to know if there are any notifications issued by EPF authorities in this regard. Also whether the supreme court ruling is applicable with retrospective effect?? Is there any effective date for the following??
