I recently got Divorced in Mumbai and received the decree from the Bandra Family Court. I intend to migrate shortly, do i need to attest the decree and also if i remove my ex husbands name now from the passport will my child face issues in getting a visa. Kindly provide all the contact address for attestation centres in Mumbai.

1. You do not need to attest such decree received by from the court since the document of the decree would be adequately stamped and singed by the Judge. You can get his named deleted from your passport. In case of your child you can have your name as the middle name instead of the child's father.

what was the settlement and custody if ordered by court in the divorce decree given if custody is yours then you can file for the same
