Approach road to my agricultural land

Is there any provision for a farmer to approach his land which is away from the Main Tar Road ?
What can be done if another farmers property was the only way to reach mine?
The kaccha path which was used since man years is now disputed by the property owners son.
Is there any right to way (legal rules) ?
