Appearance before court of session for bail

1. In a case trialable by session but not yet committed by CJM when served with summon, can a person get bail from CJM? 2. Can he appear before Session Court and seej bail directly without appearing in CJM Court? pls. reflect with case laws. Regards

you have to appear before the session court only when summons has been received from the sessions court after commital court commits the same. you have to take bail from the committing court and the commital courts will furnish you all the records contemplated under section 208 of code of criminal procedure.
