Additional written statement - civil case

hi, in a civil suit for partition, is there any time limitation with respect to filing additional written statement. the trial had started n this case and am on the defandant side wanted to file some additional written statement based on some facts that i had discovered in the last few months. what are the requirement/limitations for filing the additional written statement and can the advocate of plaint object this?

No provision in cpc to file additional written statement,if some new facts came in your notice then you have to get amendment in your in written statement by filling application u/ order 6 rule 17 of cpc and seek permission from court to incorporate new facts.
