My problem is I have same name in all the other documents. But only in my Birth certificate, i have a different name. (Not a big difference but an extra initial has been added without their knowledge). Now i need to apply for passport. But i know the name in all documents should be same. What should i do to get the proper name in my birth certificate? I cannot avoid birth certificate as i was born after 1989. Should i go through that laborious "Changing my name " thing? Can i get a different birth certificate with proper name without much consequence? I'd prefer NOT going that change of name.
