498a acquittal - need advise on divorce

Hello Experts,

After 1.5 Yrs of Battle, my friend acquitted in 498a case.

Judge says allegations that were made "are not proven". Appeal period is also over and there will not be any appeal as allegations are false and cannot be proven in higher court.

I have following questions.

1) If he files divorce on grounds of cruelity, how much time does it take to get divorce? Since nothing to say in trial, as we have court order of acquittal.

2) How about permanent alimony, she left matrimonial house after 3 months of marriage and no kids.

3) Can Judge reject her alimony as allegations are not proven in 498a ?

Please advise.
