2nd National Conference on Financial Frauds

The phenomenal economic growth the country witnessed in the recent times with increased reach and penetration requires fine tuning of legislative reforms on an ongoing basis, as to address the growing financial frauds as well as to accommodate growth. In the path to global integration and opening up of the economy, the architecture as well as reach of financial sector supervision needs to be strengthened to create a fire ball for minimizing financial frauds which of late seems to have become more prominent.

The Financial sector has always been a target for fraudsters. It continues to remain very attractive due to the significant amount of cash, assets and sensitive client data that is available to them as well as the nature of the industry.

Over the last two decades, India has been one of the world’s fastest growing economies with banking and financial services organizations experiencing significant growth both in size and profitability. So frauds in the financial sector pose a significant risk to institutions, as well as to the integrity of capital markets and Insurance Sector. Its effect can be widespread, causing long term financial and reputational damage.

To address the various contemporary issues related to financial sector frauds, ASSOCHAM is organizing 2nd National Conference on “Financial Frauds - Risk & Prevention” on 26th June 2015 at Hotel Shangri-La, New Delhi. The conference will discuss the key issues and challenges facing the Banking Industry, Capital Markets, Insurance Sector and others in fighting frauds.

We are happy to inform you that Shri R. Gandhi, Deputy Governor, RBI has confirmed his presence in the Inaugural Session of the conference. Other speakers are from, SEBI, IRDA, PwC and industry experts.

You are requested to attend the conference, or nominate few of your colleagues. The Registration Fee for the conference is Rs. 3,000/- per delegate. (10% discount on 2 or more registrations from same organization or ASSOCHAM members or LAWyersclubindia members).

We are also looking for Sponsorship Support and Speaker from your esteemed organization in this very important conference, to enhance your brand visibility. Your association could derive huge mileage from this galaxy event, as there will be participants from top Corporates and government officials.
