Sirs, a person wants to dispose off his 1979 Model Scoooter. But before sale / delivery, he wants to ensure the removal of his name from the records of registering authority. The registration has already been expired in 1994;the same cannot be renewed now as vehicle is mechanically unfit.
Whether it would be advisable to apply for cancellation of registration u/s 55 of MV Act?
