Acquiring title via consent terms alone.

(Querist) 12 February 2018 This query is : Resolved
Can around 10 persons claim title to the property of a partnership firm by filing consent terms after fighting in court against each other for 40 years.. Not one of them has any succession certificate or proof that they are in anyway related to the deceased partners... So strange that court has passed a consent decree based on consent terms.....

Court would have certainly clarified about their Succession Rights. If at all you have any strong proof about/against their genuineness you could go for Appeal. Discuss with local good Advocate.

Court passed decree. It is final.
Do you have problem in it, dont try drag the case further.
Try to solve and settle the matter amicably, already 40 years went.

Only the Case went on for 40 years and Judgement had come recently as per your Statement and certainly the Appeal would be possible on Valid Grounds. Discuss with Local Good Advocates Please

Except Supreme Court's Orders any other Lower Court Or High Court Orders could not be treated as Final. An Appeal would be always Possible with valid grounds please.Even for Supreme Court Orders Filing an Review Petition against it would be Possible Please
