One of my bedroom i want to give it to rent, will this be a paying guest

Hello Sir,
I have few bedrooms and one of the bedroom I want to rent it out, will this be called as paying guest? Will there be any formalities with local bodies?

Sir, If I have to let out my ground floor for 4ladies would there be any formalities with the local bodies other than registering out state resident with the local police? Would this be a rental or pg agreement?

1. Keeping a non-family member in ones house by receiving money, would classify as "paying guest accommodation".

2. Duly Stamp duty paid Registered Tenant Agreement needs to be executed.

3. IF in Mumbai, THEN police verification report of Tenant would be required.

4. IF in a Registered Society, THEN relevant bye-laws Forms and fees needs to be paid.
