Recovery of money under section xxxvii

Helo I want to kno what is the court fess for civil case under section XXXVII i have a filed a suit against defendants for recovery of money of Rs 225000/- and i got to know that the court fees for that case of Rs 2000 around is it correct or not please suggest the same as earliest.

The court fee very state to state. it depends in which state you filed the case.

In Rajasthan, court fee for your case is Rs 15,375/- so I can assume that your advocate is right.

Just trust him and go further.

Yes court fee is differ state to state so without knowing the filing state it is difficult to say. it is better to consult local lawyer.

in general the court fees stared from 1.25% to 10%.

Thanks for your support, the case is in Delhi which is just recovery amount and the fees is charge for witnessed documents which is appered in front of judge and answer the queries and everything is noted.
