Execution of foreign decree

Under a Foreign Decree, a Court has directed the other party to make certain payments to us. What is the procedure to receive those amounts? Should we make an application for execution of the Foreign Decree or is there a separate procedure/body to apply to receive the amount. Who has to apply and where?

Dear Dedhia,
Before giving any advice it is necessary to look into judgement of foreign court. As per law judgment without discussion of any oral or documentary evidence is not a judgment on merits as provided in S.13 (b) of the code.As for as jurisdiction is concerned, the execution can be filed where the property is located.
