Want maintainance for my kids and house

sir, i m in very critical condition, i am living with my 2 yrs old twin daughters at my mother's house since 3 feb 2012, as my husband got drunk & beat me at midnight and he told me to left his house and usually tortured me so much. how can i get my floor but i don't want to live with my husband b'coz i am afraid of him. my husband also own seperate flat. is there any provision to get that flat or my floor? my matrimonial home is owned by my mother in law. or any other option. b'coz my financial condition is very poor. it was his second marriage after getting divorce.

File a petition under the domestic violence act and seek protection order, residence order and maintainance orders from the court for yourself and the daughters.

You can get residence orders in the house owned by him or he will have to secure alternative accomodation for you for which he will be asked to pay its rent.
