Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 29 January 2012 This query is : Resolved
Sir I am running a Broking office a person had started a trading account with me.Which he had started in his mothers name. His total investment was 2.5 L His investment was reduced to 1L in OCT.During that time he came to me and spooked to me little hardly. I told him that when the market revises you will get the amount. That time he told that he will give a time till Apr 31 2012 and asked me to give a blank cheq. If the market has not revised then he will fill the difference amount in the cheq and draw the amount.Last week the amount had rised the 167000/ On last Monday he had withdrawn Rs 50,000/- from the trading account and had put Rs:200,000/- Cheq in the Bank and bounced my cheq without giving any prior information to me. That to he had put the cheq on his name not his mothers name because the trading account is on his mothers name. Now he is try to cheet me he is giving me two options

1. I have to settle the balance amount from my hand in 20 days.

2. I have to provide a new cheq with a pro note in 20 days.

If i fail to do this he his going to put a cheq bounce case on me

Do not give him any Pro Note. Or any new cheque.

U issue notice to him, not to deposit any cheque, and that u owe nothing to him

As he failed to deliver goods , u rtd my cheque, and s such you stop payment and or close your bank a/c, with notice to him .

No worry,
It is business!.
Only defend ur self with this tact.

As there is no liability, nothing can be held against you.

Don't pay anything to him.
