Quashing of f.i.r

a false complaint has been made out against us just to put pressure and harass us as there are cases that are pending against us regarding the same property...this is just for harassment ..the f.i.r has been registered in pb by people having big contacts and executed by the dip's order.. his direct involvement,,, how can this case be quashed? the case is still with the police

It can be challenged in the High Court, but high court does not go deep into the matter just it will direct to face the trial.

You can file a quashing petition in High Court u/sec.482 Cr.P.C. for challenging the case,but merit of this petition is rare.So, if the FIR is concerned you should get anticipatory bail and face the trial by proper defend.

If the matter is still pending investigation by police, better put up a protest application stating your grounds/ reasons to the top brass in police department posted in your area/District.
If due to some reasons the matter is not resolved the same application may become the base in court in sec 482 Cr.pc for quashing of FIR.

I am of the view that in such case you better file an application to the Court for joinder of charges against you under section 218 CrPc.

Quashing happens only on legal grounds, sit with a competent lawyer and see if grounds of quashing are made out and then proceed.
