Harrasement

i'm an earning women n my husband now is wanting to know my income, which i dont want to reveal to him. hes now found a way, asking for my IT-Returns to raise a bank loan,as he has no income.is there any way i can avoid getting into this agreement? hes threatening to beat me up , is this 'threatening ' an offence by law?

Harassment may be in different ways.But there two kinds of harassment, viz., physically and the other is mentally.

the act of your husband is squarely come under the purview of emotional blackmail and harassment. speakout your inability to you husband frankly with help of the elders.

Am agree with experts. But as a wife whats the need and necessity to hide about your salary details from him.. Its clearly showing that how much understanding is going between yours.. Such a nice wife you are.

Mutual trust between husband and wife is the key for happy family life. If you don't want to reveal your income to your husband that means you donot trust your husband and likewise, your husband also don't want to trust you. Better make a better understanding between both of you to avoid any misunderstanding.

No doubt your husband may be harassing you, but your own distrust towards him is indirectly becoming the cause of more harrassment to you and disturbs your peace of mind. So, you may better reveal your income to your husband, but you can straight away state that you are totally against raising any loan. However, if he continues to harass you or starts beating you, you can legally sue him for your mental as well as physical torture.
