clear all the out standingv & current unbilled transactions in C.C. Then pay one rupee excess the bill amount. then lodge closure procedure with customer care/bank in written. cut the C.C. into pieces and send it to the authorised centre which issued it. contact the bank for further details for closure.

As said clear the outstanding dues and unbilled transactions if any and apply for closure with the bank submittting the card along with your application for closure and turning it [credit card ]into peices.

well advised by experts. After clearing all bills address a letter to Credit Card Section that you have cleared all bills and there are no dues pending against the CC. Along with this letter send cut-pieces of CC. Ask for their acknowledgement. If you wish to send by courier track the courier delivery and keep the evidence.
