threating of legal action

lawyer appointed by owner of the property is threating to take legal action, if equivalent amount of money (2% of deal) is not paid to him. Owner had already paid their part. There is no aggreement arrived as such. Since he was representing the owner, we were in contact of him. using those email - he is threating.

Ignore these legal threatngs.Let him file case in court,where you can put your defence.

Unless there is an express agreement regarding the concern issue, you need not worry. Assess each and every prior e mail which you have sent earlier to see if there is any citation of payment of equivalent money. Otherwise Mr. Bansal has rightly advised. Take care....
