This query is : Resolved
1) What do u mean by the order sheet of the court? What does it contain in it. Whether it is a public document as far as RTI, 2005 is concern.
2) Without cross examination the chief has no value. But in my opinion first chief examination & then cross examination is preferred right? So the answer should be without the chief examination cross examination has no value. (Right)

2. No. Without cross examination the chief not valid is WRONG. Its may be treated as a incomplete evidence. But the chief examination without cross examination is valid one.

If the defence advocate does not wants to cross the pws mean its just will be closed as Chief examined and no cross examination from the defence side. Its defence side default.

Order sheet contains the incidence of proceedings of the day with any further orders of the court.
If defence advocate does not want to cross-examine the witness the examination-in-chief will be quite valid and final. In other words the defence accepts the version of the examination-in-chief. it can be invalid onl, if the defence wants to cross-examine the witness but he does not turn up for the same on the fixed date, if not done on the same date of examination-in-chief.
