Police not Submiting Final Report

Fir was file 2 month back, ppl has not file any challan or final report. What is process under 498a any limit which is applciable for police to follow ?

If 498 A, there will be an enquiry by the Block Development officer and he will submit a report to Police.

Usually Police have to file final report within 90 days. If that time exceeds, you can approach High Court and obtain a direction against police to file Report within a stipulated period

in 498 cases the accused are on bail most of the time and when the accused is on bail than it is not necessary to file the report in 90 days so don't afraid of that it is the duty of the police to file the report accordingly

file an application before the concerning court for the progress report from the police station in such case!
