Yes. Section 63 of Indian Evidence Act 1872 provides for same.

PHOTOCOPY WILL NOT BE EXHIBITED IN THE COURT. IT SHOULD BE PROVED WITH ORIGINAL AND SIGNING PERSON SHOULD BE EXAMINED IN CHIEF IN THE COURT TO PROVE THE SAME AS EVIDENCE.GOOD LUCK.

Yes. Photocopy of a letter can be produced and admitted by the court in evidence provided the other party does not object to it. If the opposite party objects to it, it cannot be admitted in evidence.
