place of posting in field by ongc of commerce graduate

actually, when i joined ongc ahmedabad i have been posted as Jr Asst. (F&A)on term basis for 4 years and after completion of the tenure ONGC has redesignated us as field operators. actually there are around 15 non technical employees whose place of posting have not been changed. they are continuing in the same place of posting and only i m being transfered to the field duty. i have no experience of field duty and ongc has only given me 5 days training of mvt. I want to work again in my parent discipline F&A. HOW DO I FIGHT WITH ONGC. PLEASE HELP..........

you can not be compelled to do a particular job which is contrary to your qualification and appointment conditions.
find out whether ONGC comes with in the purview of state, if yes then you may go into writ petition.
take help of some local lawyer....visit him with all your documents including appointment letter and the original advertisement (if any)
also find out the rules governing your post.

Have you sent a letter, to the HR department of ONGC. If yes, what is the reply.

in the appointment letter ongc has clearly mentioned that we should be posted in shift duty.. but from the 15 employees on I have been posted in field.
