PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHETHER A PRIVATE SCHOOL RUN AND OWNED BY SINGLE PERSON IS COVERED UNDER THIS ACT. UNDER WHICH SECTION.

WHAT IS THE MODE OF SENDING THE LETTER FOR INFORMATION-SIMPLE POST, UPC OR REGISTERED.

Mr.Arvind,

Please see the order of the court

"In view of the above findings, the question whether the petitioner school is a public authority is left open and not decided."

The private school is not a public authority, the public authority is having the access to the private school.

So, A=B=C, So, A=C.

If you want the information of the private school you can approach the public authority who is controlling the school.

pvt school is not covered under RTI however, Sh Arunagiri has given a good reply and solution

ANYONE WHO IS DESIROUS OF GETTING ANY THING REGARDING THE INFORMATION OF PRIVATE SCHOOLS OR ANY PRIVATE BODY , 15_private_school.rar SENT BY SHRI ARVIND JI IS SUPERB. ONLY ONE THING IS MISSING IF THE SCHOOL IF UNRECOGNISED/UNAIDED AND IT IS NOT GETTING ANY BENEFIT FROM GOVT OR INCOME TAX AUTHORITIES OR ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT MACHINERY REGARDING LAND , ELECTRICITY ETC IN THAT CONDITION IS THAT PRIVATE BODY IS BOUND TO PROVIDE INFORMATION TO SOME PUBLIC BODY.
OVERALL SO MANY THANKS FOR THE EXCELLANT REPLY.
