remarriage of wife

dear sir,i am married to a girl,both are hindus,my marriage was done in temple and i have marriage photograph with negative,priest certificate and witness.but now her parents have come to know about are marriage and they are again trying to remarry hir.i have already lodged a case under sec,9 of HMA.BUT they did not apeear in first hearing,and they have taken the case lightly.what can i do to stop her remarriage.

File a complaint in court for 511/109/494 IPC against the girl and her parents.

what is the stand of your wife?

is she with you? Try to settle the issue with the help of friends and relatives.

Unless,your wife is with you in the issue, there is no point in wasting your money and time.

Give a police complaint. Mark the photograph as your evidence. Give the list of witnesses for the marriage including the priest. Produce the receipt for conducting the marriage at the temple. Obtain the receipt from the police for giving this complaint.

The police will take care of it.

After receiving the receipt from the police for making complaint, wait for few days.

If there is no action, come back to us.

You can very well approach Police with relevant documents and can take steps to stop marriage and punish the parents of your wife

file a complaint with the police and also move before Court of MM seeking production of your wife. Also you can meanwhile file an injunction against your inlaws regarding remarriage of your wife.
